Måndag i Hokitika

Nu börjar resan till NZ att ta slut, vi har endast 2 presentationer kvar och lämnar NZ på onsdag den 5 maj. Idag har det varit vocational day i Hokitika, det blev lite rundvandring i staden och diskussioner med ansvariga för olika eventevenemang i staden, samt ett besök på deras turistbyrå. Vi har även besökt deras City Council för en diskussion med borgmästaren, besökt ett sjukhus i Greenmouth, samt en arbetsplats där man gräver efter guld. Regnet har öst ner idag, vilket det ofta gör på västkusten. Ingen av oss klagar då vi haft kanonväder i helgen på Franz Josef och under gårdagens golfrunda och hästridning. Lite regn skadar inte, men imon blir det uppehåll och fint då vi via Athur´s pass drar till Christchurch för de två sista dagarna.
Ikväll är det näst sista presentationen och ikväll utan Jennys spelande. Carin tar rollen som Jenny, men dock utan tvärflöjtsspel. Nu hoppas vi på en bra presentation i kväll.

Now begins the journey to NZ to run out, we have only two remaining presentations and leave NZ on Wednesday, May 5. Today, it has been a vocational day in Hokitika, we got a little tour of the city and discussions with those responsible for the various entertainments events in the city, and a visit to their tourist agency. We also visited their City Council for discussion with the mayor, visited a hospital in Grenmouth, and a workplace where you dig for gold. The rain have poured down today, as it does on the west coast. None of us complained when we had great weather this weekend on the Franz Josef and during yesterday's round of golf and horse riding. A little rain will not hurt, but tomorrow will stay nice and when we through Arthur's Pass prefer to Christchurch for the last two days.
Tonight is the penultimate presentation, and tonight, but without Jenny's playing. Carin take the role of Jenny, but without playing the flute. Now we hope for a good presentation in the evening.
